We want to simplify the concept of the coffee shop – and adapt it to a changing world.
During these difficult last few months, many coffee shops have been brought to their knees. The lack of tourism, passing trade, and locals out on the streets has meant that some places have been left with huge rental bills that they are unable to pay. Consequently, many places have gone bust or are hanging on by a thread.
The growth in delivery services during quarantine has meant that take-away has become the new norm. Yet many coffee shops are unequipped to deal with this. Large coffee shops with a huge physical footprint are no longer feesable.
This is where the idea of quero cafe was born. By lowering the fixed costs of the location itself, coffee can become the primary focus. We plan to work with small, local suppliers in order to ensure consistency and support local business.
Our aim to offer a simplified menu, which allows us to refine and perfect the coffees we are offering. This also ensures we are as time-effective as possible. Technology will play a key part in achieving this. A touch screen on the counter will allow you to place your order simply and quickly. An on screen reminder will show an estimate of the time until your order is ready. We believe this will increase efficiency.
Technology will also be utilised in other ways too. This will allow us to keep stock levels precise and avoid unnecessary waste. By weighing the coffee to keep consistency and quality, we can ensure the final product is of the highest standard.
Much more than simply a takeaway cafe, efficiency, consistency, our community and sustainability will be at the heart of our operation.

Nosso objetivo é oferecer um cardápio simplificado, que nos permita refinar e aperfeiçoar os cafés que oferecemos. Isso também garante que nossas operações sejam o mais eficiente possível. A tecnologia desempenhará um papel fundamental para alcançar isso. Um tablet touchscreen no balcão permitirá que você faça seu pedido de forma simples e rápida. Um lembrete na tela mostrará a estimativa de tempo até que seu pedido esteja pronto. Acreditamos que isso aumentará a eficiência.
A tecnologia será utilizada em toda nossa operação. Isso nos permitirá manter os níveis de estoque precisos e evitar desperdícios desnecessários. Ao pesar cada dose de café podemos manter a consistência e a qualidade e, assim, garantir que o produto final seja do mais alto padrão – é como se você estivesse contratando seu barista pessoal.
